With over 40 events across the length and breadth of the region, create. aims to bring the community together, attracting people from all over the country to our beautiful district and have a world-class celebration of New Zealand’s artists and authors.

We believe the Mackenzie is one of the best locations in the world, and for good reason! Whether it’s our crystal clear lakes, our rugged alpine mountains our pure night skies or the characters that make us unique, we’d love to see what you think is the best of the Mackenzie Region.
