Welcome

create. is a festival celebrating literature, arts, the spectacular Mackenzie landscape and the amazing community who live here.

EVENT CANCELLED

Despite the enthusiasm and support for the reCreate festival, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the remaining author events in 2021.

Fortunately, the art part of our programme can continue. The photo competition boards will be displayed in Twizel, Tekapo and Fairlie over the coming months, and The Sculpture Walk on the Tekapo Domain will run from 4 December through 21 January.
